A Lucid boat on the water in Banderas Bay
About · Lucid Adventures Vallarta

Boat tours on Banderas Bay,
from someone who grew up on it.

Lucio Martínez was born and raised in Puerto Vallarta and has spent his life on Banderas Bay. Lucid Adventures is how he shares it — small trips, real local knowledge, and the Vallarta most visitors never see.

The story

Puerto Vallarta, the way a local knows it.

Lucid Adventures is Lucio Martínez's Puerto Vallarta — the one he grew up in. His family put down roots here almost seventy years ago, so the bay isn't a destination to him; it's home. He's twenty-three, and he's spent all of it on the water — chasing waves and a love of the sea that started when he was a kid.

Lucio is a waterman first. He freedives, surfs, spearfishes, wakesurfs, snorkels, and hikes the trails above the coves — the same experiences Lucid runs today are the ones he does on his own days off.

Working in tours, he found what he loves most: showing people places they’d never find on their own. So he started Lucid Adventures to share the Vallarta he knows — not the postcard version, but the one the locals live. This year he put his own boat in the water for it: a lancha he named La Fiera.

That's the whole idea. When you go out with Lucid, you see Banderas Bay the way Lucio does: as someone who has known it his entire life.
